Swapping
Last updated
Swapping assets is the main use case of AMMs, you can access Bluefin's Swap platform by going to the "Swap" section in the header of the UI, or directly through this link.
First, make sure that your wallet is connected to the exchange. In the Swap modal, you'll be able to select the tokens you want to trade from the drop-down menus in "Buying/Selling". These drop-downs will show all of your available tokens and the balances you have for these in your wallet.
You can choose to swap via External Liquidity (routed through external sources) or Bluefin Only Liquidity (from the pools in the protocol) to get the best possible pricing for the swap. You'll be able to see the price difference at the bottom of the modal, which will show if the swap you're getting is cheaper or more expensive compared to the current market price.
You'll also want to check the "Minimum Received" amount below the "Price Difference". This amount will depend on your Slippage Tolerance settings, which will be accessible at the top-right corner of the modal.
After you've verified all of the details outlined above, you'll just need to press the Swap button and sign the transaction on your wallet to complete the Swap!
NOTE: If your swap transactions are failing it is usually due to 2 reasons, either you have insufficient SUI tokens in your wallet to pay for gas fees (0.01 SUI should be enough) or you have to increase your Slippage due to volatile price movements during the swap. If the failed transactions persist, you can always open a support ticket on Discord and Bluefin's community managers will assist in less than 24 hours to get the problem solved!
