Placing Limit Orders

Limit Orders are a great feature for users that want to trade on Bluefin's CLMM with a similar experience compared to traditional Orderbook models. You can access this feature by going to https://trade.bluefin.io/swap and Selecting "Limit" in the header of the modal.
The screenshot below shows the Limit Order interface with the candlesticks chart from Birdeye enabled (you can disable it by clicking on the icon on the top-right corner). The adjustable fields in the order form are highlighted with a red box, so users will only be able to specify the amount of the asset they want to Sell and the Buy side will be automatically computed based on Sell price the user selects at the bottom (which can be represented in either token). The price impact will be shown on top of the Sell price, compared to the current market price. Users can also adjust the expiration time for their orders, which is 3 weeks by default.
The screenshot above represents an example of a user wanting to sell SUI at a higher price than the current market price (8.53% higher), but if they wanted to buy SUI at a lower price then they would have to switch the token selection by hitting the arrow button in between both tokens, and then specify the amount of USDC they want to sell. The screenshot below shows how this would look like, where the user is specifying that he wants to buy 22.5 USDC worth of SUI at a 4$ price (the SUI amount to buy is auto-computed). The price impact shows that the user will be buying at a 3.67% lower rate compared to the current price, and the difference in dollar value for both amounts comes from the difference in the oracle price feeds for both tokens at that time. Note that the candlestick chart also changed from SUI/USDC to USDC/SUI.
After you're comfortable with your selection, you can open the order by clicking on "Place Order" at the bottom of the modal. Review your order details and then click on "Confirm" to approve the transaction.
The number of open orders you have will be shown at the bottom of the modal. Clicking on this button will take you to the wallet side-bar.
In the "Orders" tab of the wallet side-bar you can view the details of all your open orders and cancel them if needed.
