Migration to Pro
Overview
Bluefin Pro is live! We now offer a fully upgraded trading experience. From sub-millisecond order matching, to an improved UX, right down to cross margining, Bluefin Pro has everything to provide you with the best perps trading experience on-chain.
As part of the Bluefin Pro rollout, we’ve devised a smooth and automated transition process that will allow you to upgrade your trading experience from Bluefin Classic. Below you can find the necessary steps to take to unlock trading on Bluefin Pro.
Auto-Migration
Powered by Sui, we’ve built a 1-click migration process from Bluefin Classic to Bluefin Pro. Under the hood, this auto-migration does the following:
Withdraws all your wUSDC from Bluefin Classic
Uses an aggregator to swap your wUSDC for USDC (native)
Deposits your USDC into Bluefin Pro
The attached video walks you through the process of this auto-migration.
This is the recommended transition path for most users who have funds under $10,000. In order to protect user funds, we use a slippage protection of 1% during the swap. If you have funds over $10,000 the actual slippage incurred might be too high, so we recommend the manual option below.
Manual Migration
To protect your funds from incurring slippage loss, we recommend the following steps to migrate to Bluefin Pro:
Manage your positions and open orders based on your own PnL and trading strategy
Withdraw your funds from Bluefin Classic
Head over to our Spot page for wUSDC-USDC swaps
Make sure you turn on BluefinX7K Aggregator & enable BluefinX at the bottom to check for the best quote possible
Swap your wUSDC (or other asset) for USDC
Compare the value of USDC you’ll be getting and ensure the Price Difference isn’t too high
Once you have USDC available, go to Bluefin Pro landing page to begin your journey
You’ll be prompted to authenticate your account before being allowed to deposit
