Complete Onboarding

The next step is to verify that you are the account owner and establish a secure connection with the Bluefin API, allowing it to match trades on your behalf.

Bridging

USDC balance on Arbitrum is required before depositing funds to Bluefin Beta. You can send USDC to Arbitrum via Arbitrum Bridge, accessible via https://bridge.arbitrum.io/ or from the bottom right of the Deposit modal on Bluefin.

Deposit & Withdrawal

Deposit. Enter the amount of USDC you wish to deposit to Bluefin. Please ensure you have sufficient USDC bridged in your wallet to use as collateral for trading on Bluefin.
When depositing for the first time, you'll have to approve the MarginBank smart contract to use your USDC, which grants it permission to access the funds for user-initiated actions. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the transaction and pay a small gas fee.
After USDC access is approved, the next transaction will deposit your USDC to your account.
Withdrawal. To withdraw funds from Bluefin, press Withdraw, and enter the amount of USDC you wish to withdraw back to your Arbitrum wallet. The funds can subsequently be bridged out of Arbitrum.

Deposit & Withdrawal History

You can view the history of USDC deposits and withdrawals on the Account page within the Transfer History tab. The transfer history contains links to the Arbitrum block explorer containing transaction details.

Free Collateral & Account Value

Account Value is the value of the equity in your account. Account Value includes the on-chain USDC balance and unrealized PnL.
Free Collateral is the withdrawable USDC balance. It is also the balance available for adding margin, switching leverage, and opening new positions on Bluefin.
